Mr. Bentlage brings nearly 10 years of mortgage administration and financial market experience to P/R Mortgage & Investment Corporation. Prior to his joining the P/R Mortgage team in 2002, Mr. Bentlage served as an Investment Broker and Equities Strategist with A.G. Edwards and Sons, Inc. in Greenwood, Indiana.

He began his tenure with P/R as a portfolio manager with the asset servicing department where he also served as the property inspector for all Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Rural Housing Service financed projects within the portfolio. In 2005 he was promoted to his current position as Commercial Underwriter. In this role, Mr. Bentlage is responsible for the underwriting of a wide variety of projects and lending programs to include RHS Sections 538 and 515, the Fannie Mae DUS Affordable Housing program as well as U.S. HUD/FHA financings.

He is approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as an underwriter for all Multifamily Accelerated Processing financings. Apart from this MAP approval, Mr. Bentlage has earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist Designation from the College for Financial Planning and has completed several courses and requirements in his pursuit of the MBA’s Certified Mortgage Banker designation.

In his spare time, Mr. Bentlage serves on the board of directors of the ThreeSixtyFive Foundation, is an avid SCUBA diver and enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Jordan and his friends and family.
