Photo of Sondra S. Emberton Ms. Emberton has served as P/R Mortgage’s Vice President of Operations since April of 2001. She has more than 30 years of experience in the loan servicing and underwriting industries. From 1976 to 1986, she worked as both a loan closing and servicing specialist and a portfolio analyst for Merchants National Bank. From 1986 to 1990, she was the Assistant Vice President of Income Loan Servicing for Merchants Mortgage Corporation, and up until 1996 she was the Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Underwriter and Servicing Manager for Merchants. Prior to coming to P/R Mortgage, she also served for a number of years as the Assistant Vice President and later, Vice President of investment real estate loan servicing for National City Bank.

In her current role, Ms. Emberton is responsible for the management, development and implementation of policies and procedures for the daily operations of the servicing and investor accounting departments which include closings, disbursements, investor reporting, servicing of the secondary marketing portfolio for compliance as well as coordination of servicing systems and technologies.

Ms. Emberton was an active certified REAC inspector for the Real Estate Assessment Center of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development from 2001 through 2005.

In her spare time, Mrs. Emberton enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, new grandson and her family and friends.
