Mr. Petrie is a HUD/MAP certified underwriter for both multifamily and assisted living/skilled nursing projects and has been involved, in full or in part, with the underwriting of over 80 loans in the MAP insurance program. He also has experience underwriting FHLMC loans and is working to underwrite and place loans with FNMA. Mr. Petrie was one of the a presenters on the underwriting training panel for the 2008 HUD MAP training conference in St. Louis, MO. In addition, Mr. Petrie brings property construction experience and both his Indiana Real Estate Sales and Real Estate Broker licenses to the firm.

Mr. Petrie is a Board Member and Trustee of the Indianapolis Downtown Lions Club which has the sight of Hoosiers specifically those in IPS as its mission. John Petrie has been active coaching youth baseball in Fishers, Indiana with the HSE Sports program and has sung with the Indianapolis Arts Chorale and the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir. He has one son, Jack, a seventh grade student at St. Louis de Montfort School.
